Interactive Proposal Process

  • Contact NovaLink directly. Ask questions and get quick answers
  • The NovaLink team will assist in identifying and accommodating the important criterion relevant console furniture
  • Project location, scope and schedule
  • Tasks and operations (as they affect the console design)
  • A plan of the prospective installation space (best as a DWG CAD file)
  • Preferred NovaLink Console Construction(s) from the web site
  • Alternatively, sketch of a desired console concept with general dimensions
  • Project requirements for user access and ergonomic standards
  • Architectural options with (i) open consoles or dressed with side / end panels, (ii) open or enclosed base structures, (iii) low profile or with stacked monitors, (iv) large elevated monitors as a video wall, and (v) with acoustic privacy panels
  • Trim designs (by designer) using standard and non-standard materials and finishes
  • Project monitors. Brand, model numbers and quantity
  • Project CPUs. Brand, model number and quantity
  • Rack mount equipment. Dimensions and quantity of vertical U spaces
  • Electrical power with hard wired or plug in connections (USA and British standard fittings)
  • Special features (on a made to order basis) can include inset touch screens and cable ports, utility counters, shared conferencing extensions, and storage modules etc
  • Proposals include itemized quotation(s) with project specific logistics, layout plans, a CG image and tech details as required
  • The assigned Project manager will interact with the Customer's project team to review and update the specification if necessary

Obtain a Cad Block

  • Cad Blocks (DWG files) are available for standalone consoles and / or expanded layouts of multiple consoles in connected clusters
  • The NovaLink Product Management team will provide CAD Blocks based on supplied project information
  • Furthermore, at the Customer's request, the NovaLink team will explore other configurations for the console and / or the layout of the room

Made to Order Production

  • NovaLink parametric contract furniture™ is manufactured in Canada with extensive USA content
  • Each purchase is assigned to a Project Manager and produced on a made-to-order basis
  • Both the product design and the production process (for Series 7.5) has been optimized for minimal factory floor space, safe working conditions and reduced consumption of materials, energy and labour
  • The console base structure is robust and durable (powder painted 11 ga steel components with a 25-year warranty)
  • Series 7.5™ Consoles are assembled (95%), wired and QC approved in the factory
  • The Series 5.5 Spine System, (an NLnovalink ™ legacy product) continues to be available with new upgrades (including sit-to-stand desk tops)
  • The Series 5.5 Spine System is offered at standard prices, on standard lead times and with the standard warranty
  • Both Series 7.5™ and Series 5.5™ are 99% recyclable; all components can be returned to the factory door

Logistical Services

  • Each Customer purchase will be assigned to a NovaLink Project Manager who will interface with the Customer’s Project Team to review specified details and prepare a schedule for delivery and installation
  • The Project Manager will maintain a gantt chart
  • A plan with console footprints will be supplied to show the floor interface and assist in locating perforations for power and I.T. cables
  • Assembled, wired and QC approved in the factory, each unit is free standing and requires minimal packaging & minimal onsite labour
  • Consoles can be installed by the Customer’s local service team (cost-efficient)
  • Project specific installation instructions are available upon request
  • Technical support and supervision is available on line or on site; video communications enables day-1 installation or day-2 service visits to be affective and cost efficient
  • Electrical power connection is available as plug in or hardwired (with USA or UK standard fittings); hardwired electrical connections are by the Customer’s electrician; plug in floor monuments should be located under the console in the open interface space
  • Cables passing through a cable chain should add minimum 36” in length; the large capacity cable chain provides contiguous 2” x 5”
  • Logistics for freight are itemized according to the circumstances of each project
  • NovaLink can deliver and install consoles in business centers around the world

Please make SAFETY your principal consideration when operating the lift system

Operating Recommendations (for ‘up’ and ‘down’ movement)

  • Ensure that no objects are on top of the lower equipment cabinet
  • Ensure cables connected to desktop equipment are routed throughthe cable chains and the cable trays: cables require appropiate length
  • Avoid overloading (a lift system with 2 legs has a rated capacity of 500 LBS)
  • Avoid substantial unbalanced loads
  • The electric lift system is activated by pressing on the desktop control switch
  • ALL MOTION STOPS WHEN THE USER CEASES TO PRESS THE ACTIVATING BUTTON
  • The electric lift legs include Piezo  sensors that can detect obstructions stopping system operation
  • The electric lift system requires just 0.1 watts of electric power in the stand by mode

Warranty

Nova-Link Limited ("NovaLink") offers a limited warranty for NovaLink parametric contract furniture™ including Series 7.5 Consoles and Series 5.5 Spine System (the "Product").

(The below notes are excerpts from Schedule "A" Warranty and Schedule B-Terms & Conditions of the NovaLink quotation).

Ten (10) Year Limited Warranty for NovaLink Product:

The Product is subject to a ten (10) year limited warranty and is guaranteed to be free of defects in workmanship and materials under conditions of reasonable office use, including 24/7 shift usage for a period of ten (10) years from the purchase date (as defined in Schedule "B" Terms and Conditions attached to the quotation), subject to the terms and conditions provided therein.

One (1) Year of onsite service following the purchase date, for repair or replacement of defective Product, and such service shall be free of charge.

Twenty Five (25) Year Limited Warranty for Series 7.5™ and Series 5.5™ Structures:

The eleven (11) gauge steel structures of the Product are subject to a twenty-five (25) year limited warranty and guaranteed to be free of defects in workmanship and materials under conditions of reasonable office use, including 24/7 shift usage, for a period of twenty-five (25) years from the purchase date (as defined in Schedule "B" Terms and Conditions attached to the quotation), subject to the terms and conditions therein.

Making A Claim

To make a warranty claim or to inquire about concerns with your Product from NovaLink, please contact support@NovaLink.com or call (905) 858-3500. When making a claim under this warranty, proof of purchase with the original bill of sale is required. Any claim under this warranty must be submitted in writing and preferably include photographs or a video showing the defect(s).
